Alvin Helms, a native-born Texan, spent the last 10 years at Carlsbad Community Church in Carlsbad, CA, and began as Lead Pastor at ACC in September of 2019. Alvin, and his wife Melodee have 4 children, and love spending their time hiking, and enjoying time by the water. Alvin has extensive experience leading both teams and entire churches with a grace-based approach to life and ministry.
